Description
Summary:ArtScenter is a sole proprietorship founded in 2022, located in Sampaloc, Manila. The management team consists of Nicole Adriano as the CEO, Marian Cua as the COO, Isabelle Santiago as the CFO, Jodi Suarez as the marketing head, and Bianca Portacio as the production head. ArtScenter was established during the pandemic, wherein the members experienced extreme stress and had difficulty finding products that are effective for stress relief. Thus, they capitalize on the lack of healthy coping mechanisms by offering de-stressing products. The company’s primary competitors include kutitap.mnl and stylishs.ph. Kutitap.mnl offers homemade scented candles starting from Php 269, and utilizes its own website, Instagram, and Shopee for marketing and operations. Moreover, Stylishs.ph offers 20x20cm paint kits for Php 140, and only sells through Shopee without marketing activities done. Unlike these businesses, ArtScenter provides a kit that contains a combination of scented candle and paint by numbers. Moreover, they donate 3% of their monthly profits to #MentalHealthPH to highlight their advocacy for mental health awareness in the Philippines. As a retailing business, ArtScenter created agreements with its suppliers to manufacture goods and then sell the products directly to its customers through e-commerce and bazaars. It was first introduced through the social media platforms: Facebook and Instagram. The group posted publicity materials such as the product offerings and its advocacy. However, due to the narrow reach of audience engagement, the team created Tiktok contents to highlight the products more through creative videos. The team invested Php 20,000 from their personal accounts, of which each member contributed Php 4,000. Currently, ArtScenter has sold 170 scented candles, 69 paint kits, and 30 de-stressing kits, which adds up to Php 68,645. All members will receive an equal share of the total net earnings after the selling period.
