This study aims to assess the current state of the water quality and to determine the potability of water of the Ayta community residing in Brgy. Putingkahoy, Rosario, Batangas. Access to clean drinking water remains a critical issue in the Philippines, particularly in indigenous areas. Identifying sources of poor water quality is important in ensuring water safety and protecting community health. Data regarding the deep well water sources used by the tribe were gathered in support of the assessment of the water quality. Water samples were collected from two posos and were sent to Technopark Industrial Laboratory Inc. for microbiological and physico-chemical analysis based on selected parameters outlined in the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water Administrative Order 2017-0010. A comparison of the test results and standard values was conducted to determine the potability of the water. The findings revealed that all selected water quality parameters fall within the permissible range set by the PNSDW AO 2017-0010, indicating that the water from the deep well sources in the Ayta community meets the standards for potability. 2024-06-11T20:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/conf_shsrescon/2024/paper_see/2 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/conf_shsrescon/article/2360/viewcontent/PP_SEE_Francisco_Magbatoc_Provido_Reyes_Sabularse___Ethan_Daniel_Magbatoc.docx.pdf DLSU Senior High School Research Congress Animo Repository Ayta community deep well water quality water potability PNSDW parameters
