Robovision: A microcomputer-controlled arm manipulator with camera sensor

Modern robotic work cells often contain external sensors that provide the robot controller with information about objects in the environment. Perhaps the most powerful sensors in terms of the volume of data it produces is a robotic vision system. With the use of robotic vision, the position, orienta...

Perhaps the most powerful sensors in terms of the volume of data it produces is a robotic vision system. With the use of robotic vision, the position, orientation, identity, and condition of each part in the scene can be obtained. This information can then be used to plan robot motion such as determining how to grasp a part. Thus, having this in mind, the proponents decided to interface a microcomputer with an arm manipulator and having the video camera as it's sensory device. 1993-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9983 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Robotics Computer vision Robots--Control systems Detectors
