Garbin, Ma. Carmela V. Sanchez, Dana Cyrelda O. The research identified the best practices that addressed organizational problems and provided a recommendation for developing, monitoring, and implementing the best practices for interventions, through the Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Data for research study was gathered by utilizing an interview with a total of eighteen respondents from three multinational companies that was subjected to content analysis. The study found different kinds of stressors which were categorized under three major themes namely psychological, behavioral and environmental. Absenteeism and turnover were defined by companies as organizational problems when companies experience a loss of profit and when they cause negative behavioral effects. Furthermore, the most availed programs by the employees turned out to be the economic practices which include financial loans, housing loans and educational loans. Finally, this study contributes to companies that would like to improve or establish EAPs. 2012-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10471 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Employee assistance programs--Philippines Stress (Physiology) Professional employees--Job stress Psychology
