Dy, Antoinette Jillian S. Ong, Brayniel John B. Villaroman, Natasha Jade E. This research paper explores the influence of the practices of corporate social responsibility on the different components of organizational commitment namely affective, normative, and continuance, among managers in socially responsible companies. There have been previous studies that link corporate social responsibility and organizational commitment however further studies are suggested to confirm this relationship. The research would be in a form of a correlation study to determine the relationship between the two variables, and using a moderating variable which is the perceived importance of corporate social responsibility (ICSR). The researchers would be using a survey questionnaire as a means for gathering information from the respondents of this study. Managers from socially responsible companies would be the respondents of this study and they would be selected through judgment sampling based on the Asian Sustainability Rating (ASR) of 2009 and afterwards, simple random sampling method. Statistical analysis would be used specifically Pearson Correlation Coefficient Method and Multiple Regression Analysis to answer the research questions raised on this study. The results showed that practices of CSR have an influence on the three dimensions of organizational commitment, with affective commitment having the strongest correlation. Using the multiple regression analysis, results indicate that ICSR affects the relationship of CSR and the two dimensions of organizational commitment affective and normative. Based on the results, the group concluded P a g e | 2 that CSR is very beneficial to companies since it could influence the commitment of managers positively. 2011-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10727 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Social responsibility of business Executives--Job satisfactions Business Administration, Management, and Operations
