The aim of this research is to find and describe the anatomy of peak experiences through a thematic analysis of the narrated experiences. Twelve elderly Filipino individuals were the subjects of the research. Two general contexts of experiences were identified in their narratives: Lipunan and Sarili. Nine assumptions were made regarding what makes their experiences uniquely valuable. The assumptions made concern the values, perceptions, conditions, actions or behavior of the participants. It was found out that most of the uniquely valuable experiences of the participants were nadir experiences. Critical conflict situations appear to be peak experiences for the Filipino elderly in the study. 1999-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10820 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Peak experiences Mind and body Old people--Social conditions Psychology
