Another goal of the study found out how motivations are built with the assistance of emotion, conation, self development and inter-personal factors. All these were made known to the researchers through in-depth interview and content analysis. The results showed that adults see the purpose of education in a different sense as they go on the process of education and are therefore pushed by different, deeper, inter-connected motivations to perform well.
