Ozaeta, Maria Camille Katrina M. This study shows the effect of study skills to type of student and type of student to academic performance of BSA students from De La Salle University. Kolb's Learning Style Inventory (KLSI) and Congos' Study Skill Inventory are used to gather data from the four chosen clusters in the modular program, namely Basic Accounting, Financial and Advanced Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, and Assurance Information Systems. The study uses a two-step analysis to analyze the data gathered. Through the use of Multinomial Logistic Regression, Logistic Regression and Multiple Regression the researchers are able to determine the effects between dependent and independent variables. Under the first step, the data shows that there is no relationship between study skills and type of student for all clusters. From the data gathered, the most dominant study skills for all clusters are identified, which are test preparation, memory, and concentration. As for the second step, the results show that there is no relationship between type of student and academic performance in Financial and Advanced Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, and Assurance information System. However, there is a relationship between type of student and academic performance in Basic Accounting. 2012-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10870 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository |
