Description
Summary:This thesis tests whether visually impaired blind computer players are able to play an audio computer game with the use of directional sounds, and a Wiimote. The spot for the blind called Showdown is simulated into a computer game, and this game aims to identify whether a blind players are able to play the game properly, and have fun. Furthermore, the thesis will try to identify several game design theories in the sighted players video games, and compare and contrast them on how they apply to the visually impaired games, as well as come up with new possible theories for the games for the blind.
