Companies have flagged work-life conflict as one of the most pressing issues in the workplace today. To address this issue, companies nowadays promote work-life balance initiatives. However, current studies advocate Work-Life Harmony instead wherein the main goal is to have an integration of both work and life instead of trying to find balance between the two. The researchers conducted a qualitative case study wherein they interviewed 15 employees from a single multinational FMCG company in the Philippines who experienced the working conditions of the company before and after the implementation of the work-life harmony. Through this, the researchers were able to determine the differences in the disposition of the employees pre and post implementation of the work-life harmony initiatives. The researchers found out that work-life harmony program. However, despite the implementation of such program, the researchers recognized that it still needs some improvement. Most of the solutions were only addressing work-life conflict in the surface. Human resources should consider other factors such as pro-active involvement of upper management, seminars to ensure continuous engagement and awareness of employees regarding the programs, and well-grounded organizational practices to achieve a sustainable and effective work-life harmony program for employees in a FMCG company, and thus ensuring an increase productivity and job satisfaction. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11014 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Work-life balance Work environment Business Administration, Management, and Operations
