Go, Paul Leandre A. Santos, Ted Randor P. Mining is one of the biggest industries in the Philippines, and one of the major problems within the industry is its waste disposal. The study on the determination of geotechnical properties of mine tailings of selected mining sites in the Philippines will give ideas and information on its classification and characteristics, thus optimizing the possible use of mine tailings and have understanding on its behavior which will be useful in the design of tailing dams for slope stability and seepage analysis.
