Summary:This study was undertaken to determine the qualities that organizations seek when hiring their employees. It also aims to determine the performance of the De La Salle graduate in the recruitment process, assessing the perception of recruitment personnel regarding the attributes they possess and the performance in the recruitment procedure. The research method conducted was a descriptive study using two instruments, the survey questionnaire and interview method. The convenience sampling method was used and thirty respondents from various industries composed the sample of the study. The respondents are recruitment personnel who have had ample experience with regards to the recruitment of De La Salle applicants. The survey questionnaire was sent to the respective recruitment personnel to answer, once retrieved an appointment was made for an interview. Data was examined using content analysis to separate the various and distinct qualities that have been retrieved from the respondents. The results showed that there was a considerable similarity between the qualities that organizations value in their employees and the qualities that De La Salle applicant possess. Furthermore the results yielded a fairly favorable response in relation to the performance of the De La Salle applicant in the recruitment process. The unfavorable responses retrieved from the results were sparse and scattered. The researchers concluded that the De La Salle applicant is marketable in that the applicants are well prepared and equipped in handling the recruitment procedures of organizations. Despite the positive tone of the results that have been retrieved, certain improvements still have to be made in the attitude and behavior of the applicant. This is to ensure greater possibility of being accepted in the respective organization of choice.
