Description
Summary:Biomedical advancement is a fast rising trend in today's world. Many innovations are continually being created to help people find ways to know if the quality of readily available food in the market is at par with their respective price tags. Bio impedance analysis is already being used with athletes to evaluate their body water and fat percentage. Studies show that this technology can also be used to measure the water percentage of poultry products such as chicken in order to assure consumers that the product is to tampered with. Additionally, with the increasing number of health problems due to people's lack of consciousness in their diet, this can be used to measure the fat percentage of pork and beef products in order to monitor a person's fat intake. Currently, there are different methods in inspecting meat products. To add to that, this thesis will utilize an alternate way in doing that via an electrical means of analysis. With this, time duration and cost can be lessened and clear and more accurate data can be obtained.
