A survey done in the Philippines shows that 73% of gamers own a mobile phone. The mobile phone is a good device for enhancing game pervasiveness because gamers have it at all times and it is constantly connected through a wireless network. This research will design game mechanics which utilizes the integrated Short Message Service (SMS) access. Allowing features of the game to be accessed through SMS will enhance the current state of pervasiveness in MMO games. This research will develop a MMO game where players can access the game through SMS at the absence of a game device and an internet connection. 2009-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/12137 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
