They have changed the way people communicate and the same time cause distractions and other problems. This research is focused on building a mobile phone jamming device. This would hopefully reduce distractions and accidents caused by mobile phone usage while driving at a high speed. The said device would be implemented inside an automobile and would be triggered on when the vehicle's speed is over a certain limit. Using a Voltage-controlled Oscillator and a Tune circuit, the jamming device will be transmitting signals that will sweep through the frequency band used by the service providers, thus canceling their signal. While a microcontroller and a receive unit will provide the feedback to the jammer in terms of received signal strength coming from the providers.
