The system is designed in an open-ended manner to facilitate the future expandability of the system. An ECG module and a blood pressure module are constructed to demonstrate the capabilities of the system. Three additional and simpler biomedical modules are constructed to further demonstrate the system's modularity. Simple diagnostics for the biomedical modules are also implemented.
