Description
Summary:Game designer and developers are always faced with the challenge of being able to apply and prototype their ideas. Games design or level concepts must be tested for playability and feasibility. Further, with the increase of demand for mobile games, developers must have an avenue to quickly implement their ideas rather than studying libraries to write for the mobile platform. This project will allow users to create a game in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). In addition, the research looks into identifying common elements in a game and using these elements to create modules and functions that encapsulate low-level code. The IDE will be designed specifically for the creation of two-dimensional games for mobile devices. The features of such games include a third person top or side view, and scrolling capabilities."
