Summary: | In 2003, there were approximately 10 million internet users in the Philippines, and less than 2.5 million online gamers. Last year, the figures increased to almost 13 million Internet users and about 3 million of which are online gamers. By the year 2008, it is projected that there will be almost 21 million Internet users in the country and 6 million of which are online gamers. This data only shows the potential of the Internet market in the Philippines especially in the aspect of online gaming and because of this, Intellectual Property Ventures Group (IPVG) is looking forward of bringing e-Games portal in the country.
E-Games portal is originally from Malaysia but is now operating in other Asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and hopefully, soon in the Philippines. E-Games portal is not just any ordinary portal in the country. There is nothing like it right now in the online gaming industry of the Philippines. E-Games is not just an online gaming portal but it is also an online community as well making it the first in the Philippines. E-Games portal aims to revolutionize the Philippine’s online gaming community market. |
