This paper introduces quantitative methods for scheduling TV network programs. Specifically, it gives illustrations of the application of game theory and integer programming to the analysis of marketing strategies. The pay-offs in the game theory and constants in the integer programming suggest the need for a statistical forecast. This paper determines the degree of applicability of these methods to the Philippine setting.The theoretical framework includes game theory in one-night vertical programming (constant sum games and vertical programming specifications) and case application (TV program scheduling).
