Summary: | This study is an assessment of the Career and Placement Office by its target users, the students. Evaluative research design was employed to find out how the program/service attributes and student attributes affects the target user's awareness, utilization, participation and satisfaction of the different CPO programs and services. 180 students participated in the study, 30 each from the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Business and Economics, the College of Engineering, the College of Computer Studies, the College of Science, and the College of Saint Benilde. The respondents were given survey questionnaire which they answered. The result showed that CLA respondents were the most aware of the Career and Placement Office as a whole, were also the ones who participated and utilized most of the programs and services, and were the most satisfied with them. The factors which stood out as reasons for low level of awareness, non-utilization, and non-participation were lack of publicity and lack of visibility of the programs/services. |
