Description
Summary:This study is of Little Haven , a one of a kind restaurant/pub that employs dwarfs as part of its waiting staff. The study itself is built upon the organization as a business unit, with structure, objectives, and interrelationships found within. The study displays both merits and demerits to the concept of employing dwarfs and non-dwarfs within the same organization. It also discusses how the employee mix affects the unity of the staff and challenges like employee dissent from the perception of members of the organization. Furthermore, means by which the organization as a whole copes with such challenges through hosting open forums were also analyzed. The importance of this study lies in its capability to provide needed information on an aspect of society often overlooked. This research will serve as basis to individuals with the aim of understanding the consequences of having deviance, co-employed with members of the majority in proportionate numbers.
