Summary: | Success comes after hard work. Light Visions Inc. has always been directed by this saying. Pure hard work instilled in ten talents would surely be the best in their field, thus, leading them to succeed...with flying colors! The product of these creative minds is Lampara, a lamp made of screen wires in parchment paper, offers good quality for a relatively low price.
In the technical study, the Light Visions Inc. were able to assess the various ways of manufacturing its product Lampara. The assembly line method is the most preferred since it could finish one (1) unit in 53.06 minutes, as compared to the job shop method which ends in 128.72 minutes. Fifteen (15) units can be produced per production day, employing at least two (2) workstations with a 91.73% proponents' efficiency.
The only data gathering procedure that the group conducted is a survey of its primary market, that is, homemakers ranging from 20-50 years of age. The proponents determined their samples size by using the stratified random sampling method. 63.82% of the total respondents are interested in buying the product, ascertaining its Gross Market Acceptability Ratio (GMAR). The proponents decided to have a value-based pricing which amounts to P 350.00 with a 35.5% mark-up. Promotion of Lampara would mostly be through bazaars, flyers, brochures and periodicals, also by convincing interior designers to sell their lamps.
In the management and legal study, Light Visions Inc. would have a P 25,000.00 initial capital, contributed by each proponent with the amount of P 2,500.00. Also, the corporation has P 25,000.00 authorized capital stock, which is fully subscribed and paid. Management of all business operations is vested to each of the proponents, thus, making them responsible for their assigned tasks and duties. It is also in this study that the proponents ascertained the different activities scheduled for every month for greater efficiency and viability of the whole business venture.
In ten months of operation, P 45932.88 will be earned as profit for the Light Visions Inc. The return on investment is 1.84, meaning, for every one peso investment the incorporators make will yield a 184% gain.
In assessing the possible benefits of the Light Visions Inc. to the different sectors of society, the proponents identified some which includes the government played by the school, competitors, consumers, suppliers and the environment. Thus, the entry of the Light Vision Inc. in the market will yield an equal share of threat as well as benefits for some.
Thereupon, the proponents deem Lampara feasible. |
