Steier, Justine Ashley B. This paper discussed the impact of an organization's culture to its strategy implementation efforts. The paper aimed to determine the impact of organizational culture on the strategy implementation efforts of multinational companies in Metro Manila. In order to do this the proponents determined the cultural factors that affect the way strategies are implemented in their organization and the elements of culture passed on from the multinational company's head office down to its branches in the Philippines. The culture-strategy fit of the organizations was also analyzed. The proponents used data gathered from management literature and from case studies conducted among three selected multinational companies in Metro Manila. A multiple-case study with an embedded design was used in obtaining and analyzing the information from the selected multinational companies. The cross-case analysis revealed that the company's culture had a bearing on the success or failure of their strategy implementation. The congruence of the company's culture with the strategies it formulated allowed the company to implement these strategies successfully since the company's characteristics were aligned with the objective of their strategies. After analyzing the data gathered through the triangulation method, the researchers conclude that the organization's culture has an impact to the implementation of their strategies. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/17505 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Corporate culture--Philippines--Metro Manila Strategic planning--Philippines--Metro Manila Business planning--Philippines--Metro Manila Cultural policy--Philippines--Metro Manila Companies--Philippines--Metro Manila |
