Zones of inhibition were indicated by a clear ring around the filter paper disk which was wet with the different extracts. All extracts especially calamansi proved to be effective against the test organisms and had the greatest zone of inhibition against Klebsiella pneumoniae of 41.3 mm. and 35.3 mm. against Salmonella typhi. Cucumber extract on the otherhand did not produce any inhibition against Klebsiella pneumoniae and Shigella sp.
