Summary: | The study aims to find out the different and common family stressors and coping strategies of grade IV students of both high and low socio economic status. The study uses a descriptive-survey method. Both instrument used were created by the researcher. The first questionnaire was used as a guide for the actual questionnaire. The students were chosen through random sampling. Students coming from De La Salle Zobel represented the high income group, while the students coming from Padre Burgos Elementary School represented the low income group. The results showed that family income can play in certain stressors as well as coping strategies of the grade IV students. But there are also certain stressors and coping strategies that are so common that the income level cannot affect it. |
