The respondents were classified according to sex. Of the 108 fecal samples examined, 65 (60.19%) were positive for Ascaris lumbricoides and/or Trichuris trichiura. No hookworm infection was noted. The overall prevalence rate of A. lumbricoides was 33 (30.56 %), 18 of these were male and 15 were female. Prevalence rate of T. trichiura was 19 (17.60%), 9 of these were male and 10 were female.
