Six species of sea urchins were collected and classified under 1 class, Echinoida, 2 subclasses, Euchinoidea and Perischoechinoidea, 2 super orders, Diadematacea and Echinacea, 5 orders, Diadematoida, Cidaroida, Echinoida, Temnopleuroida, and Exocycloida, 5 families, Diadematidae, Cidaridae, Echinometridae, Echinidae and Scutellidae, 5 genera, Diadema, Phyllacanthus, Echinometra, Tripneustes and Echinodiscus, and 6 species, Diadema setosum, Phyllacanthus sp., Echinometra oblangata, Echinometra mathaei, Tripneustes gratilla LInne (1758) and Echinodiscus auritus Leske (1778).
