By showing how the main character overcomes bullying by developing his talent and self-confidence, the story imparts the message that though we cannot avoid the obstacles in life, what really matters is how we deal with these conflicts and how we learn from them.
This thesis is a personal project to the proponent since much of it is semi-autobiographical as to how the author experienced being bullied in an exclusive boys' school in his younger elementary years. |
