Summary:This screenplay is about Mang Boy who is a poor musician who lives in a landfill. He lives alone and mostly keeps to himself. He begins to play his trumpet on the street, playing for money. He earns his money this way, trying to heal himself thourgh his music, trying to focus on his music in order to heal the wounds from his past. He never deigns to go beyond his situation, choosing instead to cocoon himself in that little shack of his, and hiding away from the world. He lives this way for 60 years until one day he meets a young man who changes his entire situation. Miguel Reyes is a freshman college student who is also a musician. When he meets Mang Boy, they form a friendship that turns out to be beneficial to both of them. Mang Boy goes up against his own world, the world of the garbage dump, and finds redemption through his love for music.
