He never deigns to go beyond his situation, choosing instead to cocoon himself in that little shack of his, and hiding away from the world. He lives this way for 60 years until one day he meets a young man who changes his entire situation. Miguel Reyes is a freshman college student who is also a musician. When he meets Mang Boy, they form a friendship that turns out to be beneficial to both of them.
