Summary: | This study determined the cultural appropriateness of early childhood programs with a majority of indigenous children. 3 early childhood classrooms were observed: the classes were ranked in accordance with the checklist. For the second phase, 2 directors and 5 early childhood educators were interviewed in order to find out more about the cultural appropriateness of the programs, respectively. Data from the first phase were turn into average and the integer complied with the level of cultural appropriateness, based on the legend. It was found out that there is a significant attempt to indigenize the early childhood programs. |
