Summary: | This study on professional jealousy aimed to describe the said concept and to understand its four aspects based on its application here in the Philippines. The method of interview was utilized. A total of thirty subjects were collected for interviewing purposes. At the end of the data gathering, the findings were processed for presentation. From the subjects' answers, it was gathered that the top two reasons for professional jealousy were promotion and esteem from others. The two manifestations mentioned were verbal and non-verbal behavior. The effects that were revealed were either work-related or relationship related. The conclusion or resolution of jealousy was said to have come with the dialogues or communications that were set up by the parties involved. |
