Marquez, Eileen Gail G. The current organizational signature of the Philippine College of Optometrists (PCO) does not clearly reflect what the organization is in terms of its industry (eye care) and the image that it wants to project (optometry-related, scientific, and professional). Aside from this, the organization did not have any standard guidelines on how to correctly apply the organizational signature on its various print materials. Hence, the organization did not have a consistent visual identity, which is an important factor that will help both their internal and external stakeholders to recognize, remember and distinguish the organization from other optometry-related groups. Thus, a new organizational signature and a corresponding organizational identity manual are needed to ensure that the design of the print materials remains uniform.;"The thesis is an organizational identity manual that presents the new organizational signature and contains specific guidelines on its correct usage and application on different print materials. The new organizational signature is composed of an eye symbol with an atom positioned inside the upper right corner of the eyeball and a log type bearing the full name of the organization. The eye represents the optometric aspect of the organization, while the atom symbolizes the scientific aspect of the organization and how it looks up toward progress. The proposed organizational signature was designed to clearly project the image that the Philippine College of Optometrists wants its stakeholders to perceive, which is the authority of optometry in the Philippines.
