Description
Summary:Wanderers After the Storm' is a video documentary thesis project about the lives of the children of political detainees during Martial Law and how these lives were shaped and are being shaped by the events and the ideologies that prevailed at that time. Interviews of four children relating their childhood experiences with and without their parents, their perceptions of Martial Law, their stand on societal issues, and their aspirations for the Philippines are shown in the documentary. Actual footage of the declaration of Martial Law, the Plaza Miranda bombing, and communist activities are also included. There are also video-taped newspaper articles about the events before and during Martial Law. The project was shot in VHS-C and V8 formats and edited in U-matic format.
