Description
Summary:To compare the difference between the expectations on graduating accountancy students and the actual experience of entry-level staff accountants, a survey questionnaire will be used which will be distributed randomly in various school in Manila and auditing firms located in Makati City. Each group will rate the question in three categories: Job, duties and responsibilities, advancement, training and supervision and personal concerns, using a Likert-scale with 5 being the strongest factor. The hypotheses are that there is no significant differences between the two groups in all categories presented. The predicted results have implications for the development of the accounting education of staff accountants in auditing firms and for future research.
