The study aims to design a UAV crop dusting robot for small scale environments that is less expensive compared to the commercially available UAVs. The hexacopter will have the capability to carry the synthetic fertilizer on air and spray it on the crops while the user is a distance away from it. Its movement, altitude and spraying will be controlled manually through a mobile phone with an Android application.
