Summary:This study aims to determine it extraversion and social comparison predict a person's positive body image. The study involved a sample of 385 undergraduate students, ages 18-24 years old, from varying universities within Metro Manila Online and face-to-face administration survey containing measures for positive body image, social comparison, and extraversion were used for data gathering. A multiple regression analysis was used to determine the regression between the variables. Results of the study reveal that both independent variables, social comparison and extraversion, are predictors of positive body image. These findings are discussed in terms of physical appearance and body appreciation in the context of social media.
