Teng, Mildred C. In the process of research and study, students have to go through the tedious process of reading several books. This entails frequent cross-referencing of terms, topics, and illustrations in order to fully understand a specific subject matter, even for just a single reference material. Much time and effort, better spent in more important tasks, are therefore wasted. Realizing the need for a tool that would facilitate the process of research and study of pre-medical students, the proponents decided to develop MeditText for Windows: A Hypertext Application on Human Anatomy. MediText is, basically, a Windows application that encompasses the different anatomical systems of the human body. It provides an active cross-referencing of textual and graphical information and a printing facility. On top of these, it has an interface that lends itself to ease of use. The developers hope that their software product would satisfy all its intended users, and that it would be of help even to non-pre-medical students. Eventually, may this product contribute to the improvement of Philippine education. 1993-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7019 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Computer systems Computer software Medicine--Text-books Anatomy, Human Data base management x4 Human anatomy
