Roque, Garry Franco C. Television has paved the way for the multiple of homeowners to be able to view live broadcasts from television studios and still be at the comfort and safety of their homes. And as time went by, developments have been on going in order to improve the television, in terms of video, audio and added features. Picture-in-Picture technology is one of these latest trends in television innovation. This thesis entitled Dual Movable PIP Generator with Audio Selection, provides the option for two or one PIP display aside from the main program with only the use of a conventional colored television. The PIP displays in this case are movable across the screen and their video will come from different sources, such as VHS, Laser Disc Player or a Video game. This project involves partitioning a PIP panel within the television screen. It includes digital and analog multiplexing, clock generating and timing circuits. The video inputs passes through a digitization process and a reinsertion technique through multiplexing will stitch the smaller video within the PIP panel. Each processed information is displayed in its corresponding PIP panel. The audience views separate PIP programs on the PIP panels and have the option to move it around the perimeter of the screen. Audio selection is done through a separate selector switch. 1998-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7223 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Electronics Digital-to-analog converters Television circuits Technology -- Audio-visual aids Communication in engineering Television -- Receives and reception Television cameras -- Image quality Electrical and Electronics
