Summary:The main objective of this study is to find the relationship of job satisfaction and work motivation and if these 2 constructs significantly differ in different employment settings: among contractual and regular, Filipino , Information Technology employees based locally. The respondents of the study composed of a total of 120, having 60 contractual and 60 regular employees. This study made use of 15-item questionnaire based on Job Satisfaction Survey by Spector and a 52-item questionnaire based on A Worker Motivation Scale by South & Wherry and Pearon's Correlation and T-test as statistical tools. The results of the study showed that 1) there is a low negative correlation between the two constructs 2) both groups are dissatisfied with their job both however are work motivated and 3) between the two groups, the levels of Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation do not significantly differ.
