Description
Summary:"Please Hold" is a 12-14 minute mockumentary-styled short feature film about the work of suicide prevention hotline operators. The film follows the office lives of Anthony, James, and Micah, as they narrate and share their hardships and triumphs as operators at Trust Suicide Hotline Operations. The film is relevant and timely, because the first 24/7 suicide prevention hotline was just launched by the Department of Health last September 2016. By the end of the film, viewers should be able to understand how suicide prevention hotlines work, reflect on the necessity of having one in today's society, and understand the importance of mental health in our nation.
