The thesis employed LASI, short for LAyout System for Individual(ist)s, as the electronic design automation (EDA) tool for drawing and analyzing schematics and layouts of the analog and digital circuits. Since it does not perform simulations, although it compiles Spice files, LASI needs WinSpice to serve as its simulation program. Together with the experimental modules that show the step-by-step procedures and detailed discussions and illustrations of designing the schematic and layout of the circuits, a graphical user interface (GUI) was also developed to enhance the user learning environment. The GUI was made to have a number of features for it to serve as an effective learning tool, and one of them is its integration with LASI and WinSpice. 2006-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7564 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Integrated circuits--Computer-aided design Integrated circuits--Design and construction Electronic systems--Design--Data processing Electronic circuit design--Data processing |
