Results showed that there is a significant relationship between identity development and the use of social media. The correlation showed a p-level of 0.000, therefore leads to a posiitve correlation. Furthermore, the findings of the qualitative study showed that the factors that define identity are the perception, presentation and uniqueness of a student which is developed through the adaptability, growth, and influence.
