Computer technology has been a paramount tool of Educational Institutions both in instruction delivery and academic processes. The challenge of using e-assessment in the college admission exam has not been taken so much consideration by most universities and colleges in the Philippines as these institutions use the traditional methods (paper-based test). The traditional method results to redundancy of data entry in performing the required tasks of each stakeholder such as checking of results to provide feedback, and conducting item analysis to develop quality questions for the exams. The aims of this project are to develop a prototype system of an e-assessment for college admission entrance examination that gives immediate feedback to examinee by integrating the different processes in setting, delivering, and checking exams. Likewise to integrate item analysis module that provides statistical treatment of discrimination index and difficulty levels and comparison with the average response time of examinees on a specific question item. These will aid question developers in maintaining quality question items of the exam. Rapid Application Development Methodology is used in developing the prototype that both developing the question item bank and user interfaces are taken into considerations. Project costing and schedule are also provided for recommending future implementation of the proposed system. 2008-01-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/3454 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etd_masteral/article/10292/viewcontent/CDTG004259_P.pdf Master's Theses English Animo Repository Universities and colleges—Admission Universities and colleges--Philippines—Admission Educational evaluation Computer Sciences
