Results revealed the deceptive nature of recruitment of women, the exploitative and abusive nature of work at destination city/country and the risks and harms of sex trafficking on womens health and well-being. Results also showed the remarkable courage, strength, hope and resilience displayed by trafficked women in the face of threats and difficulties. These positive traits allowed them to minimize the risks and eventually leave their trafficking situation.
