Summary:Effective Management of team change results to the attainment of objectives and contributes to the improvement of the teams performance measured by its key performance index, customer satisfaction survey and the companys performance management system. This study aims to do an action research on the Record to Report (RTR) teams road to effective management of team change. RTR is one of the work streams or teams of The Hershey Company ROHQ, Global Shared Service (GSS). Observation, Reaction, Judgment and Intervention (ORJI) method is used in journal keeping to keep track of events related to the change. This research covers Cycle 1 of Coghlan and Brannicks spiral of action research. During the year, RTR implemented changes. The change ensued due to the resignation of the General Ledger Accountant based in China. The four disciplines of Life Giving Workforce Design (LGWD) Model, which includes Liberating Leadership, Authentic Engagement, Appreciative Culture and Sustainable Systems, and Talent Management Framework were used to manage change effectively. Results revealed that the team has effectively managed the changes. Best practices discovered while managing these changes is helpful for me, the team, entire organization and other organizations same with GSS.
