The research will also analyze an existing model for effectiveness used in conventional teams and understand how it relates and compares to a new framework for virtual teams. The virtual team will also be defined and classified to better understand possible ways to address issues that manifest in a virtual team setup. Early forms of studies in virtual teams will be used leading to an integrative framework to map the complex relationships among virtual team dynamics that links to virtual team effectiveness. This research project will show that a virtual team that is geographically dispersed and mostly relies on technology mediated communications creates negative effects to team effectiveness and performance. This research aims to implement interventions to mitigate these negative effects and enhance the positive effects of virtual work arrangements in a global IT team by focusing on factors and antecedents towards effectiveness that has the most impact. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/4713 Master's Theses English Animo Repository
