It creates an avenue for us to take a look at our current state and determine the actions we need to undertake to make our goals a reality. Through collaborative effort and usage of inquiry tools ladder of inference and force field analysis, the action research cycle method was used to address the issue. Likewise, this research is aligned with the Change Equation of Beckhard and Rubin (1987) to help ease any resistance and conflict in implementing the training and development program. Training has always been an important part of competency development. This means that organizational success depends to an extent on considerable and continuous investment in training. This would ensure an adequate supply of employees that are technically and socially skilled and capable of being developed into expert for the departments or management positions (Sri Divya & Gomathi , 2015).
