Different creative play approaches have been introduced, but mostly these were applied in the primary year. This paper then introduces the Science C.A.T. program which aims to bridge in the gaps in the expected intended learning outcomes (ILO) on Modern Physics Concepts for grades 10, 11 and 12 physics students. The games in the program are the Rutherford Ball Toss Game (RBTG), Hidden Shapes Game (HSG) and the Radioactive Journey Board Game (RJBG). The gaps to be filled were based on the ILOs and each game was designed to enhance the following skills: conceptual understanding; analysis of evidence from given data; interpretation of symbols and equations; problem solving skills; and confidence in answering test questions. This paper utilizes the normalized gain and effect size in analyzing quantitative data. The qualitative data were gathered from interviews with the students and the teacher observer. A Cohens d = 63.1349 was seen from the comparison of the pre-test and post-test, denoting a high level of difference. Highest normalized gain = 0.5 was achieved by the RJBG on enhancing problem solving skills. The number of attempts made by the students increased. Lowest gains were measured on the conceptual understanding of the concepts presented from each game. 13 out of 21 students increased in attempts of answering the questions.
