This study names income, better jobs available abroad, lack of jobs availability in the Philippines, job security, and political stability as the main drivers of self-expatriation among Filipino millennials. Family comes out as one of the reasons for repatriation. This study suggests increased salaries in local employment and more opportunities available to specific professions to attract repatriation of Filipino millennials.
